Ingredients
  

  • 200 g penne pasta or pasta of choice
  • 250 g mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
