- 200 g penne pasta or pasta of choice
- 250 g mushrooms sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 50 g parmesan cheese grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
- 0.5 tsp salt to taste
- 0.25 tsp black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
