Lemon Chicken for Weight Loss

Ingredients
- 300 g chicken breast skinless, boneless
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1 lemon juice and zest
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
- 100 g steamed broccoli side serving
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Let it marinate for 5 minutes.
- In a non-stick pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken and garnish with parsley. Serve with a side of steamed broccoli.
Notes
For a lower-calorie option, reduce the olive oil to 1 tbsp. You can swap broccoli for other steamed veggies like spinach or zucchini.
