- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 200g each
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 50 g breadcrumbs (Panko) Panko works best
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 large egg beaten
- olive oil spray optional, for extra crispiness
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for about 5 minutes.
In a shallow bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Pat the chicken breasts dry. Dip each in the beaten egg, then coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, pressing to ensure it sticks.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket. Spray with olive oil for extra crispiness, if desired. Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with a side salad or your favorite dipping sauce!
